Welcome to the Kunsthalle Dresden. The Kunsthalle is an art gallery in the art'forum, located in the middle of the downtown Dresden. In our Kunshalle, artists have the opportunity to expose their art for a period of up to four months at a time, as we look to change the exhibits three times a year.
The changing displays ensure each visit to the Kunsthalle delivers a new experience for our regular hotel guests and visitors to Dresden.
We also open up our Kusnthalle Dresden as a venue for meetings, conferences and special events. The unique ambience of the art gallery will take your business meeting or private celebration to a whole new artistic level!
History
Founded in 1995, the Kunsthalle in Dresden was designed by Professor Rolf Rave, a well-known architect in Germany having designed the Kempinski Plaza in Berlin and the city's Pergamon Museum.
As well as housing the Kunsthalle, the art'forum also plays host to art'otel dresden - a unique hotel blending original art and modern design.
The first Kunsthalle exhibitor came from A.R. Penck, a well known Dresden-born artist. Since then, A.R. Penck's works and paintings have been displayed as a permanent exhibition in the art'otel dresden.
